Dr. Doyle, reporting. It is Stardate 133438.24 and I've just woken up. If there is such thing as intergalactic jetlag, I definitely have it!
But I cannot afford the risk of falling back asleep and missing my first recordings. Yesterday was quite embarrassing already.

The radiowave receiver will be operational in a few hours and I am hoping that we'll catch something in this immense darkness. I cannot see anything outside the windows of my quarters. Everything seem silent and standing still, but we have definitely started moving towards our destination.
Alright, I've gotta go check on the receiver and other sensors.
