Dr. Mark Doyle speaking. It is about 9pm on my planet. We have started our journey towards the unknown. The crew on deck has detected some strange anomalies that could be a sign of life in this part of the universe. I have set up my lab and am ready to get some DNA samples to analyze. The lab is well equipped. Probably even better than what we had in the lab at the University of Komodo, back on Squamata.
I miss the noisy corners of the university. It is kinda all I knew. But here, in deep space, I also find some sort of peace. Everything is so quiet! Except the canteen! Those humans can be very chatty and noisy. I understand why mom did her doctorate in Anthropology. Being at their contact is refreshing compared to our
ever so serious Sauriosis citizens. I hope I fit in with the rest of the crew. I might seem smart, but I'm also the only one with scales all over his body.
Doyle, Checking Out.
